Are you passionate about largescale capital delivery in the offshore or marine environment? Our client is expanding their Capital Programme Delivery (CPD) team and is seeking experienced Project Managers, Programme Managers, and Assistant PMs to help shape the future of Irelands energy and infrastructure landscape.

About the Team

They sit within the Transformation Delivery (TD) competency of the Irish Consulting practice. Their mission is to become the Trusted Advisor for clients across the procurement, construction, and operational phases of major capital programmes.

They deliver this through:

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work directly with infrastructure clients to deliver major capital programmes in the offshore and marine environment. Responsibilities include:

Client Delivery

Partnering with Generation & Transmission companies, government bodies, and infrastructure developers.

Advising clients on challenges across the capital project lifecycle.

Leading or supporting project Mobilisation, Operating Model Design, and Delivery Strategy.

Managing project deliverables to time, cost, and quality.

Overseeing project plans, risk/assumption/issue logs, dependencies, and budgets.

Delivering major project and programme activities from initiation to close.

Integrating data and sector insights to inform decision‑making.

Producing high‑quality reports, presentations, and client deliverables.

Leading small engagements or workstreams where required.

Assessing programme maturity and implementing improvement recommendations.

Internal Responsibilities

Supporting client account management, financial oversight, and risk management.

Building strong client and internal relationships to support business development.

Contributing to proposals and presentations for medium‑to‑high complexity projects.

Coaching, mentoring, and supporting team development.

Participating in recruitment, training, and performance review processes.

Maintaining continuous professional development and technical expertise.

Upholding and communicating workplace policies and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

A 3rd‑level qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.

Assistant PM: ~3–6 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator delivering engineering capital projects.

Project/Programme Manager: ~6–20 years’ experience delivering large‑scale engineering capital projects.

Full working rights in Ireland.

Ideal Experience

Offshore or marine infrastructure project delivery.

Consulting or clientfacing experience.

Multidisciplinary exposure: Project Management, Engineering Design, Procurement, Contract Management.

Strong Stakeholder Management and communication skills.

Understanding of project governance and change management.

Professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2®, PMP) are an advantage.
