Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Location: Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland

In partnership an industry leader and dedicated Data Centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to their large technology clients, delivering throughout Europe. They are currently employing over 750 professionals and counting.
They specialise in providing turnkey Data Centre solutions, providing services from Design, through to Construction across the full range of Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Services as well as Commissioning.
In Finland. They are the Turnkey General Contractor for the Construction, Fit-Out, Commissioning and Handover of a 48MW Data Centre
Requirements
Supervision of Commissioning related tasks for all Electrical Vendors.
Ensure Compliance with work scope
Monitor delivery of scope
Communication of deadlines and Commissioning Programme Milestones
Supervision and reporting on Commissioning Programme and deadline progress
Supervision of and possible attendance for Electrical Vendor FAT’s and FWT’s
Experience working on UPS, Switchgear, Generators, MV and BMS Controls
Organise/ Attend and provide input to Daily/ Weekly Commissioning meetings, Internally and vendors
Form and update weekly Commissioning Vendor progress reports for onward submission to Commissioning Management
Coordinate with Project QAQC Dept to achieve common objectives.
Coordination with Project AP Dept to achieve common objectives.
Track and obtain approval on relevant project Electrical Commissioning documents such as Test Scripts, Compliance statements etc
Witnessing of all vendor Commissioning activities against approved project documentation
Track receipt of, review and compliance of project Commissioning documentation to achieve the necessary Commissioning level sign off
Conducting Commissioning Tagging process and Procedures.
Conducting of all day to day on Site Commissioning Operations
Skills & Qualifications
Relevant certificates in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experience e.g NVQ
Minimum of 3+ Years’ experience in a similar role within a Construction Environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, Data Centre type projects is desirable.
Experience of working on LV/MV or HV systems with Commissioning experience.
Electrical Testing & Verification with min 3 years’ experience.
Construction experience / understanding required with safety experience.
Solves problems analytically and acts decisively
Process driven candidate and focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes is desirable

Additional Benefits: You will be working on a 3-week rotational basis (17/4 Rotational Roster with flights covered. e.g Monday to Saturday for two weeks & then Monday to Wednesday) with additional benefits covering: all accommodation covered (solo accommodation/own apartment, fully furnished with all utility bills paid inc. Ideallyyou will have EU Passport / EU Eligibility to work in Finland and an excellent grasp of the English language.
